THE 22-YEAR WAIT IS OVER: Arsenal Officially Crowned Premier League Champions!

Arsenal players and fans celebrating winning the English Premier League title after Manchester City drew with Bournemouth.

North London is celebrating tonight as Arsenal FC have officially been crowned champions of the 2025/26 English Premier League season, ending a painful 22-year wait for league glory.

The title was mathematically secured tonight after Manchester City FC were held to a dramatic 1-1 draw away against AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

The result officially ends Manchester City’s hopes of catching Arsenal at the top of the table and confirms the Premier League trophy is heading back to the Emirates Stadium for the first time since the legendary 2003/04 Invincibles era.

How Arsenal Secured the Title

Heading into tonight’s fixture, Arsenal sat at the summit of the Premier League table with 82 points and only one match remaining.

Manchester City, meanwhile, began the evening on 77 points with two games left to play. However, after dropping points against Bournemouth tonight, Pep Guardiola’s side move to 78 points with only one final league match remaining this Sunday.

Even if City win their final fixture, they can now only reach a maximum of 81 points  leaving Arsenal mathematically unreachable at the top with 82.

That officially confirms Arsenal as Premier League champions before the final weekend of the season.

Mikel Arteta’s Historic Achievement

This title triumph marks a monumental moment for manager Mikel Arteta, who has successfully transformed Arsenal into one of Europe’s most disciplined and competitive sides.

After years of rebuilding, tactical evolution, and painful near-misses, Arteta has now guided the club back to the pinnacle of English football.

Throughout the campaign, Arsenal’s core stars consistently delivered elite performances. Players such as Martin Ødegaard, Bukayo Saka, and William Saliba played crucial roles in what has become one of the club’s most memorable seasons in modern history.

North London Ready to Celebrate

What was initially expected to be a tense final day on Sunday has now transformed into a full-scale celebration for Arsenal supporters.

The final league match at the Emirates Stadium will now serve as a championship party, with fans eagerly awaiting the official trophy presentation and celebrations across North London.

After more than two decades of waiting, heartbreak, and rebuilding, Arsenal supporters can finally celebrate once again as champions of England.

Tonight, North London belongs to Arsenal.
